Hi all,
Another question here that has been mentioned a few times over in the forum but would like some better 'clarifying'. Up until now the work myself and partners have performed has been word of mouth. We have been very fortunate to have made a very good relationship with those whom we operate with and have not been 'stiffed'. BUT work is slowing down and the decision had been made to branch out to other locales. We now need to come up with a contract with correct verbiage. I understand that it differs and that one person can have a different perception about a contract verse another BUT what are the MAIN things that should be included that can not be misinterpreted? (set in stone; though I know there still is plenty of people out there who WILL. lol) What are some things that you folks include in your contract(s) that one cant go wrong with? Any ideas or what not will be very much appreciated.

I defer you to Scott M, Kathy B, Tony "The Weasel", they all have rock solid, carved in stone contracts.

Give them some time....they'll respond. Also, have you done a keyword search for the term "contracts" ?

yes, have done so. And yes have come up with a few ideas. Nothing really 'clear' though. Tim did help me out though. (Thank you Tim) So we got a good idea now. Thanks
