pepper balls help...

i am a Fugitive recovery agent in MN, we dont have to many regulations up here, so we are allowed to purchase pepperballs. hoever the guns to shoot the balls are fairly expensive in my boss' eyes. so i am trying to do some research.

the weapon to shoot these listed here:

looks almost identical to the tippmann a5 paintball marker.


could i use a tippmann a5 marker or any other .68 caliber marker for these rounds? i cant find anywhere where it says the caliber for the pepperball rounds.

pepperball guns are just paintball guns with a slightly higher velocity(internal regulator set a little higher) - you can use paintball guns--pepperballs are very expensive and make transport a problem--you can spray hairspray on the skip to keep the pepper dust down but it can be a problem in a transport vehicle--we have a modified tippman full auto ---it works like a champ--we buy powder balls to use for practise(same weight and trajectory as pepper balls and leaves a white mark on target)much cheaper
