When you get closer to living in California there are quite a few people on this site that could help you in that area. I am sure that at this point and time you understand that not many will help with questions regarding who, what, where, why, when and how until you are a legal resident able to conduct such work here in the states.

Or as Ruffin pointed out to me refer to the FAQ post.

Hmmm..Iam just, yeah! Here I was thinking that you pro would understand that I would like to have some of this cleared up before I move to the states.
And Iam just kind of curious.. What got me not living IN the states got to do with anything? I never mention that I will ever conduct this kind of work before I was able to. If I was, I wouldnt need to ask questions in here.

Here is the CA link that lists all requirements for security guards. Its too much to cut and paste on this site.

To be a BRFP in CA, you have to complete 3 separate course. one of them is the same to become a security guard.

To take the PC 832 POST course you have to be a legal U.S. resident.

This qualify for flowers! Thanks Tony! I really do appreciate the help.

Dani,

You are doing this the right way: Researching your topic of interest. How do you make it happen, where do you get license and training, etc. You are doing fine.

The reason I posted what I posted was because different states have different requirements which is why I said when you get closer to being here more will help. If this offended you it was not intended to do so.

Dani,

I have contacts with security guard firms in the SF Bay Area. If, and once you are settled, give me a call and I will see if I can help you find work.

Thx for the flowers.
