Well

Lots of contradictions in the accounts. But I bet it comes down on the BHs.

Expect the politicians to jump in and propose more laws!

The questions have already started why this happen and did the bail enforcement agents present themselves as federal agents. I must say I have looked at the video several dozen times and I too have lot of questions and comments that may have a negative impact on their enforcement and attempted re-arrest actions. However setting that aside I am sadden by the loss of these agents lives, this is such a awful thing to remind us that this type of work is very dangerous.

I watched the clip and my opinion is this guy is just another Monday morning quarter back. It's disingenuous to say that the police wouldn't have made an arrest in public like that. He starts out by generalizing bounty hunters as reckless, he obviously is bias and has an agenda. It's unfortunate that some people feel the need to dishonor the memory of these two men that were trying to do a job and earn a living.

I don't understand this one at all. They knew where there subject was, they knew he had disarmed a police officer in the past and they knew this was a bad dude. They had everything on their side, including time. Why not wait and apprehend this guy on their terms?

I mean no disrespect, they have paid the ultimate price, but God I wish they had waited.

So,

I am at the California State PI conference in Reno and the keynote speaker knew both guys and especially Garcia.

He stated that they both were licensed Texas PIs so they were operating legally as recovery agents.

However, the speaker did say that he thought they could have picked a better way to capture the skip.

He also stated that TALI , Texas Association of Licensed Investigators did check with the local PD handling the case and the PD cleared them of presenting themselves as "federal agents."

Still a bad operation.
