I sent an email to several people that have registered but not yet paid, advising that TODAY is the last chance to Register & Pay! EMAIL: Quote: You had registered for the NABBI Conference in St. Louis, MO. However, payment has not been received. TODAY is the Last Chance to REGISTER & PAY! Please make sure that you register at the NABBI site for the conference. We need everyone paid prior to the conference. We can not handle taking payments at the door! Also, by pre paying we will have an accurate attendee count and that will insure you have a name badge printed, a place for the meals and a packet of materials. REGISTRATION: http://nabbi.org/events/4/nabbi-saint-louis-conference/ The group room rate cutoff was on March 7th at 5:00 PM. If you had not made your room reservations by then, the group rate has expired. There were only a few rooms left for Sunday and Monday. Everyone should bring plenty of business cards to network with the other attendees. If you have coffee mugs, lanyards, pens, etc, you may hand those out also. Will everyone please dress appropriately, business casual (aka NO tactical gear or "doggie" look alikes. Jeans are ok...) Sunday night reception starts at 6:30 PM and goes to 8:00 PM. Finger foods and drinks. Monday and Tuesday we will have lunch together. Breakfast and dinners are on you, however we are certain that some will want to get together as a group for dinner. We hope that you decide to register and attend this important event.

I'm not at all surprised at the number of people who marked "attending" on the FB page, that are not actually attending. This, however, really surprises me! To register at the website? And some of the names of the unpaid are a surprise too.

What might have been better, considering my hours on the day job being what they are, would have been "You have only 24 hours left to register" than to require "Today is your last chance" sort of thing. I would like to offer an apology to everyone whose name was listed. I made the assumption (I know, "ass-u-me") that by publishing the names others they may know these people would be able to contact them to advise them of the deadline - since many are not on here regularly. Plus some that made the registrations are not members on this forum.
This was not meant to be seen as a method of "calling these people out" As I stated it was meant to make certain that they were aware.
I have removed the names as to avoid any further issues.
Again, I sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding - to all parties involved. I will immediately issue refunds for the registration to those that desire them.
