I think that would be a welcome addition to the site... On my bonding website.. www.freestatebailbonds.com , I have a listing for all the jails in Virginia and contact info and the ones we work normally are listed in green. ... and Tom.... my goodness... you certainly have a way with words!!

Indeed, Bill. I am a gentleman, a scholar and a poet. (OK, so I'm not really any of those things! What's your point???  ). All kidding aside, it sounds like a great project, one Jason has been threatening to unleash for some time now, and would be an awesome addition to the NABBI arsenal.

I have been looking into a few "associations" to join one, What separates NABBI from the others? I have been in and out of this field for over 10 years (due to Vermont being too slow) and never thought of joining a association until now. So far I like what I see and have read! 1) Our focus is on the bail recovery side of the bail bond "profession." 2) We provide education and training geared towards those "professional" fugitive recovery agents that believe that there is still something for them to learn. 3) To combat the negative images of recovery agents portrayed on televisions and movies. 4) To offer screened, professional agents to bail bondsmen and surety companies. No felons allowed! 5) We provide networking opportunities for NABBI members to allow them to work smarter, not harder. |

The initial reason was to pay it forward to the next generation of recovery agents, leaving a profession in better condition than when we entered it. It is equally important for the seasoned veterans to remain in a supporting role as mentors. Scott |

I recently added/changed a few pages dealing with the history of NABBI and it's formation. Anyone can simply go to the site and read through the 'history' pages and it will fill you in... the site is simple to navigate and hopefully will provide adequate info to those interested in the association. Thanks for looking... if anyone finds an error just drop me a line... I am the web designer on the site (they couldn't beat my price... free is a hard price to compete with...) and being old, blind and unable to type very fast...
