Bill,

On Friday June 15, I sent you a PM after receiving your request for membeship information. At that time I told I believed that we had 14 members, as I could not be sure as I did not have all the membership applications or checks that people had sent to Phil or were paid in St Louis.

So far, that total of 14 is still correct as far as I know because again, I do not have those apps and checks that were sent to So Cal.

I check the PO Box every day and have only received Joe Stiles, TAPBA donation and yours membership through it.

As far as the actual names of paid members, the board needs to direct Phill to place those names in a members only section, unless all the members agree to have their names publicly displayed.

We have not discuss that issue yet, as we have been working on the conference planning.

So there are 14, maybe more? It doesn't matter anymore. Thanks for the reply.

Sometimes progress seems slow... any worthwhile undertaking requires patience... I am one of the most impatient and uncompromising people you will meet. I am opinionated, egotistical and give advice that is often "off the wall"... but I try to be realistic if at all possible and that ain't easy.

This NABBI thing is in its infancy and will require a lot... a lot of really hard work from a lot of different people... it will seem impossible most of the time but it is absolutely a worthwhile endeavor.

I have quit this business and other endeavors many times but after taking a break and rethinking my decisions... I sometimes jump back in... that is what life is all about... and it is ok to change your mind.

Frustration and impatience hit me daily... I have often said... "Jesus Christ was perfect and they crucified him!!!"... so what chance do I or you have????

Hang in there to everyone that is contemplating NABBI... if we all work at it... it will work to our advantage.

... and that's about all I have to say about that...

SEE YA IN PHILLY.......... you really don't want to miss my talk on "IMAGE AND ATTITUDE"....... oh, yeah!

This needs to be cleared up by the one that started it, ME! In no way am I disparaging NABBI. Out of all the people in St Louis, I thought and still think Tony is the best person that we could have chosen to be the President of NABBI. In fact, he had everything set up in St Louis and all the rest of us had to do was show up. So make no mistake, my issue's have nothing to do with Tony, or NABBI.
In fact, my issues are my own and I will deal with them as I've always done. Once the kinks are straightened out I can see NABBI being an enormous asset to this business and it's members and anyone that hopes to see this business become a profession should not hesitate in joining NABBI.
