Some may know who Bear Scott is - but I did not realize that they had an issue with NABBI!? Anyone know of this & care to respond here or preferably in the group!

Controversial ? That can actually be a good thing. At lest we are getting known and very few things are not controversial when taking a stand. Sorry, but I don't know him or the forum.

I'm kind of curious what makes it controversial. Does anyone know what their official objection to the organization?

Sorry, Snake, I have no idea how this association could possibly be controversial. Like most things, some will find fault with anything, especially when it wasn't their idea.

There are people that have issues with some of the membership, to my understanding, they wanted a response in the manner of removal of people holding positions because of their issues, but they are not members. My position is that this is not and will not be a popularity club and people need to get over themselves and place the goals above their grievances. My suggestion to those that told me of their issues was to join, participate, run for office and effect positive change for the profession.

I wish there was a "like" button on this site so I wouldn't spend so much time typing my agreement with my dear brother's postings. Let me go further by saying that I am very proud to be associated with NABBI. I will be more than happy to promote, explain, and support NABBI but I will not respond to personal attacks against its officers or members. If anyone or any group wants to make changes then join, pay your dues and vote. That's how it's done. The future of this industry on a national scale is going to be NABBI. I am committed to that future.
