Scott MacLean, our esteemed VP, has tentatively nailed down our first commitment for a corporate sponsor. I will let him announce the name when he is ready, but I'm proud to be associated with someone who can garner this kind of support! GO NABBI!!

Joe Stiles is modest. He spoke with Cheryl Burns at the TAPBA meeting in TN and asked me to call her. Bail USA/Seneca Insurance has graciously agreed to help sponsor NABBI for the Philadelpha conference in September for $2500.00. She also gave us her permission to use her support to garner additional support from competing surety companies. They are a fine company to write for and it reflects the leadership of Ms. Burns. If you knw er, you will ave the opportunity to thank her in September.

May I in fact publicize Ms. Burns, and Bail USAs, support of NABBI?

Over the 12 + years I have been in the bond business, I can tell you that there is an extremely wide variance in the level of quality, professionalism and overall acceptance in our field. General agents also present an extremely wide spectrum and I have unfortunately been associated with some that in my opinion, missed the mark in a very major way. It often takes time to determine the true quality of an individual as well as an organization.

Having written for Bail USA/Seneca for over 5 years, first under Steve Groble out of Hampton, Va... and now with a direct contract... I can attest to the level of quality and professionalism this company represents. It did not take long for me to determine how pleasurable working with these folks could be.

I have also met Ms. Burns on several occasions and she is a true professional in our industry.

We are very lucky to have her presence at the upcoming meeting.

Thank you Scott and Joe for making this possible.

Deborah Jallad, owner and President of Accredited Surety and Casualty, whom I mentioned previously as unresponsive to my contact efforts regarding NABBI, has since responded and the timing was perfect! She asked if any other surety agents had joined and, while Cheryl didn't join per se, it was the perfect time to mention her support of our cause to Ms. Jallad! Details and results to follow....

I will get in touch with my good friends at Bankers. I was going to try Lee with United Surety Agents but i know he is big in the PBUS. I will try to get the Indiana Surety Bail Agents Association to put a mention in their Monthly News Letter
