Agreed...respect, courtesy, professionalism, all should be used during investigations, apprehensions, and extraditions.

Ok everyone,

As Phill and Mel have stated, this issue has been settled. Lets get over it and move forward.

There may have been unintended mistakes made by both sides, so we can use this as a learning experience and now that some of us has used humor to either poke fun or to throw rocks, lets get back to the purpose of this thread which is organzing NABBI.

For those that can't make it to St Louis, there will be other opportunities to be involved. Next week is just the first step.

For those that are going, please check in as much as you can as I will be posting any last minute updates, changes and other "stuff" about St Louis.

Just like many of you, I am juggling work, family and the Boss's To Do List. So, if I don't get back to you right away, keep trying.

Today, at their monthly meeting, I joined the Orange County Bail Agent's Association. Upon my return from NABBI, I will be using these meetings, and the ongoing connections established therein, to promote and recruit for us....as well as push our cause for preservation and protection of our profession. Here in California, as Tony is acutely aware, we are under some pretty specific attacks that mirror many happening around the country. It won't be a tough sell!

Thanks, Tony! Will do. Also, I received the 'start-up package' email for the conference. You, and a couple others I imagine, put some SERIOUS work into this! I can't wait for the conference!

It appears I found these forums a bit late. I would love to attend just so I could be "a fly on the wall." This would certainly give me some insight into the real world of the industry.

However, making the trip would have been a hardship at this point - I believe it would have been an excellent "investment" toward my education.

I stated by others, it is a shame that more individuals did not consider taking more of an interest in the development.

Jack,

All is not lost. You can certainly be involved in, and a member of, NABBI without attending in St. Louis. The reason we are pushing so hard for folks' investment, and attendance, in St. Louis is because we are actually getting the association off the ground out there. Once we all return from whence we came, local recruiting, and undertaking of our mission, will begin in earnest.
