Post subject:  Dog... The Family Speaks

I know it does not change the fact that he commited a crime and he should be punished like anyone else, but on the show last night they were saying how when the government searched Lusters hotel they found a bag with video cameras and a bunch of date rape drugs. Which means he was most likely still raping women. They also found a diary with a pay back list of people he wanted to pay back mainly for testifying against him. So it's also good cause who knows how many women/people he would of raped or injured if Dog wouldn't of grabbed him when he did. Like I said before he did commit a crime and he should be punished, so I'm not trying to argue that fact. He deserves what ever he gets period.

Nice to have a major network run a public relations campaign for you. I guess accuracy had to be sacrificed in order to spin the facts to acheive the ultimate goal of saving a cash cow. Too bad.

Well I highly doubt a man with 87 counts of rape who fled to Mexico was not still raping women. I would put money on it he still was.

If I am not mistaken. If Chapman had not got involved and created an international incident. Then a few hours later he would have been picked up LEGALLY by the FBI who had the same information as Chapman and crew but who were working within the confines of the law and international relations rather than going out and acting like a vigilante and creating a major scene on the streets, put innocent bystanders in jeaopardy by the theatrics that were involved with how they approached Luster, and so Chapman could get a good soundbite for the TV Crew that was with him. It would have been handled quietly and professionaly the way it should have been handled. Unfortunately that is not a made for TV type scenario so he would not have what he has today, but he also would not be looking at charges in Mexico. Fame has a price, as long as you are willing to pay it, then good for you. But do not write out a check and then cry foul when they come after you for insufficient funds. Like they are doing now. They are trying to rewrite what actually happened. But I remember an article I read where He is quoted as saying when Luster ran every bounty hunter in the country was looking for him. The trophy for who was the best bounty hunter was on the line. When I found that out I got involved because I already knew I was the best and now I had the opportunity to show them. Now that doea not sound nearly as noble as I did it for the victims so they could sleep at night, and they could have their lives back without living in fear of him showing up on their doorstep. I hope that this quote is ran somewhere that gets high traffic as it needs to be out there as a counterpoint to the BS they are shoveling right now.

Ok. I never heard that the FBI was going to pick him up a few hours after Dog had. That was just pure stupidity if that was true and Dog knew about it. But who knows really.

Just take a look at the news reports from the original Luster apprehension down in Mexico. Here is a link to the one from CNN. Notice how even then Beth was lying and distorting what really happened and got caught. Much like how she is reporting now that the Federal Marshalls busted into their home with their guns drawn to take Chapman into custody.

"They all took drugs together, this was a mutually enjoyable experience," he told CNN's Anderson Cooper.

I'm not trying to provoke an arguement because we both weren't there. But wether or not FBI was already planning on nabbing him hours later they will still say that. That's just like when someone says... "I was just about to say that". But since were not FBI we will never know the truth on wether or not they were already going to pick him up hours later.

Now why exactly did he got down to Mexico with a camera crew? Even Chapman can not keep his stories straight. Here is another interview he did. Mind you these are HIS words not mine.

Quote:
"When he took off, every bounty hunter in the country was looking for him, and the title then was on the line. When the title was on the line, it was very important that I capture him. We captured him." Of course, that capture was in Mexico and not the United States.

Here is the LInk to the story.
