Something is wrong with this article. First, it was stated that the door was kicked in. Then the article stated they entered through a door that was unlocked.

If any of this is true, it looks like we've had at least a couple recent cases where there was misidentification and going into the wrong house.

It looks as if her credibility is shot at this point.

Leaving this case aside, I'll never understand why we kick in doors. Once we've confirmed the defendant is inside, time is on our side. Just wait him/her out.

I mean no disrespect to those that feel they need to kick in a door I just don't understand it.

Just my 2 cents.

I caught the door thing to. On the other subject I never kicked a door in since 1975, Would much rather wait them out and catch them outside I don't care for house and room by room Clearing but I have had to.
