A father loses to sons to a POST Murderer and he walks on a manslaughter charge. If it were a policeman killed, he would get strung up. This is bull shit and the people of that community should hold the state's attorney accountable. Scott |

This would normally call for the death penalty. But we have a State AG that will not prosecute or ask for the death penalty, even in the case of the murder of a child or LEO. I have no clue why the Kern County DA would not at least try the case as a 1st degree murder charge. In CA, there is no guarantee that this guy will serve the whole 38 years. |
