I agree, the site is an agenda based one and there is not a clear presentation of facts. They do not address that he coulod have been having his bond revoked, he left the jurisdiction of the court by leaving the state.

We will see where this goes.

The story is inflammatory and uses name calling against the city of Carson City as well as the local court system. How can anyone consider this legitamate as a scholastic resource. The quote "Massive Protest" showed 1 solitary person, and a big banner, nothing more. While the story may be true, and charges may have been filed, I would request a more legitimate source of information to support such claims.

I hold to my original assessment. This individual was in complete control of his situation, he just had to go to court. Apparently, he is no stranger to instigating law suits, and everything is somebody else's fault.

Why does Count 3 of this (California) Criminal Complaint list a crime that was allegedly committed in the State of Nevada? This seems a little bit screwy to me...

he El Dorado District Attorney’s Office has filed charges against a bail bondsman for an October incident that spurred a protest against the South Lake Tahoe Police Department.

On Thursday, Assistant District Attorney Hans Uthe filed five misdemeanor counts against bail bondsmen Douglas Lewis for an October incident in the Sierra Tract neighborhood in which bounty hunters allegedly entered the home of Todd “Ty” Robben in an attempt to bring him into custody on a Nevada warrant.

The counts against Lewis include unlawful arrest, aggravated trespass, vandalism, battery and damaging a vehicle, according to court documents.

A man who answered the phone at Justin Brothers Bail Bonds Tuesday morning declined to say how Lewis could be reached. The man said there is no comment on the charges before hanging up.

I am asking that the Moderators remove this post and block this person from posting. I think it's bad enough that we post so many negative articles about our industry, but now we seem to be allowing BAIL JUMPERS to post here.
