Went to Walmart today...empty shelves! They had some #6 and #7 birdshot and .22lr but not much else.

Is this a statement on paranoia or a no confidence vote on the current administration?

So is mine, here in Gilroy, Ca. Where, I have been blessed for sometime in finding an array of ammunition's for my application, until recently.

Fortunately, I was able to get plenty of 1k bulk rounds for my .40 and .9's at "Sportsman Guide" the downside to their fast service, I had to wait for a month for my packages to arrive.

Not sure about the answer to you question Scott but I was in Walmart a couple days ago and the ammo supply looked ok, at least the.40 and .45 caliber. Didn't need any but saw it.

Bill
I went looking for .45 LC and .40 S&W and ended up with neither, I felt like old Mother Hubbard!

My question was to incite discussion on the increase in demand for ammunition and weapons.

Got an AR back in November right after the RE ELECTION. Didn't think about getting bulk ammo yet because I haven't told the Boss yet.

So, placed an order with Cabelas, 30 day back order and this was before Newtown. But, supposedly my order will ship in 2 weeks.

Now I need to save a few more bucks and try and find a .308.

There was a gun show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco today. Local tv showed lots of people leaving with what looked like ammo. The owner of Crossroads said it was 3 times the normal crowd.

I have pleny of ammo for my handguns and shotguns, Just need to get my .223 ammo and then I will be set for awhile.

Tony,
If you need some 308 or 223 I have several hundred rounds of each. I have a Federal Firearms license and can ship it to your nearest firearms dealer.

If anyone needs any 45's ammo I have close to 800 rds I can turn loose of if you need it

I have an order in for .223 already with Cabelas. They say if will ship in 2 weeks.

But, I will be looking at buying a .308 rifle in the near future, before they go on the ban list.

My son called me from the gun show in Timmonium, MD at the statet fair grounds, saw an AR-15 the guy wanted $3300 for, my son told him he was crazy, the guy said don't buy it, but somebody will! I remember when you could get one for around $900!
