http://www.latimes.com/news/obituaries/la-me-​gregory-powell WOW this brings back memories. This was on of the major officer safety discussion back in the day. Found the offcers dead with empty shell casing in their pockets.Time wasted on reload. Changed the range practice of empty shells in pocket to drop mags, shells where they fall.You will revert to what you practice under stress. Of course I did my POST in 87 so im sure its changed agian. |

On Friday they dedicated the intersection where the officer was kidnapped from in his name and that same weekend the guy that kills him died! |
