No the guy involved with last years scam is still in Sacramento County Jail. His MO was different from this one. He targeted bail agents first to get client info and then called clients. This scam and others like it have been going on for years. I don't think it is any one person but many different groups pulling these calls off. People even as far away as Canada has been hit by this scam. |
