Well at least he is ACTIVE in the recovery business, which is more than some can claim right now. Work is slow all over.

Agreed Bill.

Ruffin, some folks write so tight (well) that there is no reason for a "recovery  and even more so the reason when we hunt our own over here. The only ones that we (AR LPBBAs)would be hunting from out of State would be those written loosely by others  and then of course it would fall under the "plunder" part of Bail Bonding ;)

Ok, and ?

Not exactly why you are making a personal response to me over my comment. I have been told by several people in the industry, some from FRN, that recovery work as a whole is slow all over.

Gonna have to assume you were speaking to me as you did not call me by name . . . I just assumed

Was responding to you (conversationally) . . . . you are correct tho, it should have been a "general" statement . . . . but that would have sounded kinda silly, now wouldn't it ?

It was just an observatory/envious comment. I would love to be that busy, especially keeping 5 other families fed. I even know of bondspersons that are closing branch offices down because of our current economy. It's not lack of customers, jails are overcrowded, its simply lack of money.

Besides, you know what they say about assuming right ?

Like I've been told by others regarding your posts from here: Don't be so sensitive to posts....

Recovery work has slowed generally speaking, but we have been active still even with things going slow.

Also, some of these recoveries might be a little pre-staged. Bobby Brown claimed most of the recovery work that Dog did for him were easy skips, that he was paid to do the leg work on and then leave alone so the show could film Dog doing the recovery. Now that Colorado has tightened their bail/recovery laws I guess Dog isn't allowed to work there without a license? Perhaps this show has a similar 'behind the scenes' setup.

I did catch an episode of it tonight, and it wasn't too bad but they are a little overly active with the firearms. 4 guys all piled into a closet pointing firearms at one female defendant while the house is filled with other 'unknown' persons is a little different take than we would do it. I would prefer someone making sure those other 5 or 6 people didn't clock me in the head with a ball bat to help their friend get away. But thats just me.

I'll have to see a few episodes before I can make a better decision.
