Another reason, in my opinion, why the words "Task Force" should not be allowed to be used by bail recovery. Too much confusion with the general public and obviously some local LEs. |

WOW! What a shame. I am in complete agreement with you guys. "Task Force" should be reserved for one group and only one...LEO (1811 Federal Agents and Act 120 Officers in Pennsylvania). There are so many intances like this across the country but not too many get the news time that these wanna bees got. They are up for a long hike...kidnapping, impersonation and related charges! Ouch, can you say "jail time"? |

There are so many things wrong with what these clowns did. 1) To evict anyone in Pa., you have to file in court, have a hearing and have a judge order the eviction. Once that is done a Constable enforces the order.Therefore these people had no authority what so ever to act on behalf of the landlord. 2) As far as the warrants in this matter, unless you are working for a Bail Bond company and have ALL the proper documents, you can not "arrest" anyone. If the local Police aren't going to arrest anyone, then they surely won't be either. 3) Last but certainly not least, NEVER falsely identify yourself as any law enforcement agency. Personally I hope the get hammered for this and never work in my state again. |
