Just another example of dumb people doing dumb things that gives those of us that have tried to do this job correctly... a very bad rap.
Frankly, I don't blame those who view this and just shake their heads and form opinions that fly in the face of reason... who can blame them... I feel the same way.
TV and the shows that promote our industry are a major part of the blame here. Excitement fuels these stories and as said many times... if these shows and those that seek out these types of thrills, were to follow me or those of us that do this the right way... around... they would need a pillow cause they would be asleep in 5 minutes.
I don't think there is a real fix for this kind of activity... I think there will ALWAYS be those that seek out this kind of action and unfortunately, the bad rap will always fall on us and the industry.
About all we can do is continue to work ethically, honestly and with those that regulate our business... maybe our personal reputations will carry us and the clowns will just be viewed as more 'thrill TV'.

So, the $64,000 question is, did the bondsmen actually tell the head a$$hole to go and pick up the skip? If so, he should be in a bit of trouble himself.

As you know Tony, the bondsman is the "buck stop here" guy in every instance....
