Mr. goodenough, Just a curiosity question for you AND YOU ONLY....I want to see if YOU know the answer: Is bounty hunting legal in Fl. ? Quote: 10. Bounty Hunter Provisions. Florida does not allow bounty hunters.
Apprehension of bail fugitives is only allowed as set forth in FS 648.30(2)&(3): (2) No person shall represent himself or herself to be a bail enforcement agent, bounty hunter, or other similar title in [Florida]. (3) No person, other than a certified law enforcement officer, shall be authorized to apprehend, detain, or arrest a principal on a bond, wherever issued, unless that person is qualified, licensed, and appointed as provided in this chapter or licensed as a bail bond agent by the state where the bond was written. Violation of this is a 3rd class felony. [FS 648.30(4)]. |

Who is Mr. Goodenough. Are you speaking to me? There are ways to apprehend a bail jumper in Florida. You just have to make an impressionable first contact with local LE and meet a couple of standards. I have apprehended several fugitives in Florida wanted out of Georgia and did it with the blessings of local LE. 90% of the whole process is how you present yourself and make them feel in charge and that they are allowing you to be there. Good PR goes a long way. If you want this skip captured just contact me. I promise all my actions and procedures are legal. |

UM,,,,,,,,,Mr. Goodenough was the person on this thread to whom you offered your services. Nothing was directed at you. Mr. Goodenough is new on here and less than a year in the biz. RWB was trying to make sure Mr. Goodenough knew what he was getting into instead of getting locked up in Florida. It is always best to read an entire thread before getting defensive about part of it. |

The legality part of this situation has been resolved. Mr. Goodenough is working with others on legally apprehending this fugitive. |
