I was training to become a Fugitive Recovery Agent for about three years, but my boss would not allow me to get licensed until I was given some additional training. The training he wanted me to have was military, and now that I have been in for about 3 years now I am looking to get licensed. I am currently residing in Lawton, Oklahoma and I would like to know how to get licensed for the state. If anyone has information on this topic, it would be much appreciated. |

Please read the FAQ section...you can find many answers to those questions there... |

There is no licensing or education requirement (although I would suggest taking an online class from the suggested ones in the FAQ section) for bail enforcement in OK. |

Being in Lawton, Oklahoma, I assume that you are a Fort Sill. Look my son up, Travis MacLean, he is in the Patriot Missile Program there as well. He can give you some background as he has done this work since he was 15 years old. Scott |

And just a reminder...if you intend to do this (or any other work outside of your Army duties), per regulations, you MUST have permission from your company commander. (from a retired Army officer) |

Randall, take off that uniform! lol Thanks for your service to our country. My son will no longer hunt with me when he is on leave for that very same reason. He is suspect if I say, hey let's go for a ride! I offered the contact so that the individual can learn the way we have always done it, "Low Impact", no Rambo, proper tactical preparations, etc. One of these days when I get out west again, I want to meet you and then take Tony to dinner, I missed the opportunity to feed him at the last PBUS convention I attended in Las Vegas. Hey, Scott, I keep trying to take it off (actually, it appears to have shrunk quite a bit from hangiing in the closet!)! Would love to meet up with you when you get out here...and Tony and I are just about 35 miles down the road from each other. |

Well guys, I going to the PBUS in Vegas next month for a separate board meeting. I will not be attending the convention though. I have been "scimming" a few bucks here and there so may have enough to buy a round of drinks. I have Monday the 16th free......... PS, I am sure glad the "Boss" doesn't know about this website or my butt would be in biggggg trouble. |
