Each states list those that have reciprocity. The following is off of CA own website: http://www.bsis.ca.gov/industries_regul ... ecip.shtml Private Investigator Reciprocity Private Investigator (PI) "reciprocity" agreements that let PIs licensed in one state work in another can vary. Some states have them, while in other states, no agreement is needed. You should contact the state in which you plan to work before working there. The California Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Security and Investigative Services, has entered into limited reciprocity agreements with the following states (for the details of each agreement, click on the name of the state): STATE STATE AGENCY FLORIDA Department of State, Division of Licensing GEORGIA Secretary of State, Georgia Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies LOUISIANA Louisiana State Board of Private Investigator Examiners OREGON Oregon Board of Investigators So, per California, he does not have reciprocity in NT as a CA licensed Investigator. Hope this helps, Scott |

Continued: Reciprocity: The state of New York does not have reciprocity with any other states. This should answer your question from both ends, simple Google searches, no hocus pocus. Scott |
