So..I have to meet with a client for my daytime job, so I called my mom and we went to the mall so I could get some "real" clothes. (if I can't wear my standard jeans, t-shirt and hoodie I'm screwed...) So, 3 hours later, I'm good.
We grab lunch, and she gave me a check to pay for what she put on my AMEX card. (she has one for emergencies...especially with Kelsey getting into doggie trouble lately) I had to go to to the store anyway, and my bank is there and open until 4 on Sundays. I go in to deposit the check, and the effing bank gets robbed...No prob. I grab my bread and milk and get the f$%& out of there. So, me and the boyfriend go to our friends for dinner...no sooner did we get there, my partner calls me and needs me to do a bond for him since he couldn't make it...I go. Splitting headache, starving, and now I'm off to get choc chip cookies for dessert....

Why does this crap ALWAYS happen to me???

To expand on that..she was in the bank....

she catches the bank robber, collects the reward from the bank, then bonds the robber out,.....

I had to Google "sod's law"...but yes, it's true
If it can happen, it will.

LOL
I had to look it up also. If had said Murphy's law I would have got it.

Murphy's law is an adage in Western culture that broadly states, "if anything can go wrong, it will." It is also cited as: "If there's more than one possible outcome of a job or task, and one of those outcomes will result in disaster or an undesirable consequence, then somebody will do it that way"; "Anything that can go wrong, will," the similar "Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong"; or, "Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, and at the worst possible time, in the worst possible way". In a less dramatic fashion, the law can be expressed as "Anything that has a probability of happening greater than 0 can and will happen. No exceptions." The saying is sometimes referred to as Sod's law or Finagle's law.

LOL, I was thinking along the lines of RWB's post. Gun in hand, cuffs in back pocket, taking him down and holding him for LEO's. Although I don't think I would bond him out  .

BTW, Angela, how is the knee?
