Post subject: | Connecticut DPS BEA Schools |
I currently reside in NYC & I'm interested in getting licensed as a BEA in CT. I currently possess six non resident carry permits CT is one of them. Of the DPS schools listed that cover the 20 hour training & firearm training combined which would you recommend based upon having attended the school personally or word of mouth. Thank you. |

Post subject: | Criminal Justice Course |
Some of the courses in my experience are run by persons with little working knowledge of Bail Enforcement, or the bail bond industry in general. For example there was an instructor doing the course in about 6 hours with little practical training, and another person who offered the course as a homestudy course for a time, yet another school was teaching the course with an instructor not on the DPS list. I believe DPS shut down these practices. My suggestion is to contact each instructor for the Criminal Justice Course. There are not that many of them. Interview them and determine if they have the abillity to meet your needs. |
