Administrator Fugitive Recovery Network, Is it possible that we could get the same thing done with the Ohio directory? |

Certainly, Do you have a contact at the Dept of Lic. or do they have an database of licensees? The State of Washington, Dept of Licensing contacted me. I would like to have this done for each and every state. This would help make sure that we have only valid agents listed. Further, I was discussing with a moderator the idea of recruiting agents from the different regions to verify the existance & validity of those agencies listed in the directory. I know that some numbers may be invalid or they have bogus addresses, or don't even exist. Anyone interested in assisting? |

Phil, My state has no database for our idustry that I know of. What I suggest is that you simply delete the entire Alabama listing and then let current agencies re-register. As far as assisting goes, I can contact the states that do have current agency rosters and the forward those to you. While you are in the re-vamping mode, we really do need to get something done about these spam bots, especially all of the porn stuff. We also need to purge the current memberhsip of all non-bea/pi members. There are literally hundreds of porn and drug links listed in the memberships. |

Colorado has no database of PI's or recovery agents, but you can confirm bail agent licenses at http://cdilookup.asisvcs.com/. I have no problem checking out the CO listings to see if they are still good. |

You can verify bail agent licenses in CA at the DOI website.. There is no data base of CA BFRP that have completed the 3 separate courses under Penal Code 1299 which regulates the BFRP. You can also verify PI licenses at the CA Bureau of Security and Investigative Servbices wensite. Other than that, you would have to request the BFRP sends you copies of their course completion. |
