I saw some guys talking on a walkie talkie to a guy with a nextel phone. Anyone kow where to get the walkie talkies that work with nextels? Or is anyone using them? |

Well the radio section is part of the cell phone and there distributors thru various branches of Best-Buys and other cellphone dealership. Hope this help mate. |

Actually what Im looking for is a walkie talkie only but is compatible with the nextel phones. It does not have the phone on it but it works with the direct connect on the nextels. I probaly should have been a little clearer. I have nextels now, so I guess I will contact my dealer and see what he says. If anyone is using them please leave your input. |

Tim' What has to be done is you need to take your Nextel into a radio shop(Commercial) and they will get the Freq. it use's and you will have to have them install it on yor walkie-Talkie we have had this done to 2 of our hand helds. It cost us $85 a radio. Hope this is the answer you are looking for. Have a good and safe week. |
