Been on the books now for a couple years but has yet to be enacted. Rep. Caltagirone's office was in the same building as SAI for some time and repeated attempts to speak with him about this legislation were met with no response.

It makes no allowances for unregulated states such as Alabama. It is unclear as to what my procedure would be, other than notifying the PD.

That bill and another bill introduced in 2005 both expired without being enacted, Senator Greenleaf has been trying for years to get a bill passed to regulate BEA's, the other bill was a knee jerk reaction to an incident that happened near Pittsburgh back in December 2004. They will have to start a new bill in order to move forward.

Back in early 2005 I was asked by the Counsel to the Judiciary Committee to submit a recomendation, I suggested a lot of changes to the bill and pointed out that Act235 was not a one size fits all training solution, they seemed to agree that BEA's need industry specific training.
