I have been reading alot of info on this site and have learned alot. Thanks to everybody. I have been reading where people keep recommending hawaii as a place to bounty hunt because they have no laws there. Could somebody give me some more info on being a bail enforcement agent there and how there bail bonds work down there. Also can anybody get a job as a bail enforcment agent in hawaii. ANy info would be great. THanks and GOD BLess.

PLEASE - DO THE RESEARCH ON THE STATUTES ON THE SITE THAT PERTAINS SPECIFICALLY TO THAT STATE - STATUTES ARE AMENDED ALL THE TIME AND DO NOT NECESSARILY GET UPDATED ON A TIMELY BASIS ON THE SITES THAT WE VISIT |

Is it true that anybody even people with felony's can be a bail enforcement agent in hawaii? Can anybody just walk into a bail bonds and get a job even if you never did any bail enforcement work before? |

The Hawaii thing was a joke, as far as I know there are no laws governing BEA's in HI, however with the "Dog" craze that's been going on since '04 you have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting in as a BEA in HI as an unknown inexperienced operator. After that show started I got swamped with so many crackpots calling me at all hours I had to get a new cell phone and web site. |

Jesus, I'm mostly responsible for the Hawaii "joke." I apologize if you and others take that answer to your question seriously. Look as a bail agent, the best advice I would give you is to try working in a State that you are familar with. Go to their department of insurance or public safety website. There you will find the laws pertaining to bail and recovery, if there are any. The best, easiest, best paying, etc is very subjective. This has been covered many times in previous posts. Dig back a couple of months and you will find many replies to your questions. But, Hawaii is warm and the skips need a plane or boat to get away

LOL, Tony. But you are right, in that the laws regarding BEA's are lax in HI, as as well as in some other states. Anyone looking for an "easy ride" can find it if they search hard enough. The problem they will run into is in getting steady work from "other than the no-pay or low-pay bondsmen" and that they won't find work from any reliable or honest agent. Their 15 minutes of fame don't mean anything to us. |
