Any bondsmen writing bonds beware of people from Texas. Its a nightmare on misdemeanors to get anyone out of there. I have jumped thru every hoop they have placed before me and they keep putting up more. Were now at a stalemate. The PI I hired located the guy and called the jail to bring him in before apprehension, thank God. They said they wouldnt take him without a writ from the judge here. The judge here, after being jacked around by attornies for two weeks, wont give a writ unless hes in custody. Checkmate. So, now I am out a PI fee and will end up paying the bond too. Beware of Texas. I know I have spent my last revenue for fuel, hotels, vacations, ect... on that state. It goes in the pile with Illinois and a couple others as do not bond and do not patronize at any cost. |

We could have saved you all that money from prior experience and knowledge of Texas rules and laws. It is very difficult to get a misdemeanor out of Texas and usually it is not worth the cost. |
