In my area of Phoenix, AZ several bail bonds have reported that jails are not accepting people (due to COVID-19) and it seems to have put a full stop on bail recovery business. Bail bonds are still accepting bonds like crazy but on the recovery side I'm not sure what work is out there if any. I have no idea how long this will last, its been a while since I've called anyone but I have my doubts that anything has changed. The last person I was in contact with stopped responding to my texts a while back and I think its because he is just tired of telling me the same thing every few weeks. I was so close to getting into this industry and COVID-19 ripped it out from under me, its disappointing. How is it in other areas? |

Sorry for the long waited reponse... Here in South Florida .. there was ZERO interruptions at the jail with doing Surrenders. The Jails I normally deal with took anyone we arrested/surrendered with no issues. |
