Unless you want to start paying for the ability to post pictures from photobucket to other sites... you better start looking for another free service. They are adding a fee to their site... and I am only using less than 10% of the available space, so, I really don't need to be paying... the minimum is $9 monthly... I am deleting my account which means probably 3 or 4,000 pictures are going away.... to bad but I am not gonna start paying to have this service... if I can't add pictures from my phone or computer... it ain't happening... Sorry, but this site will not take a photo in other ways so be it................. ALSO... NO ONE HAS POSTED ON HERE IN OVER A WEEK.... I think FRN is going away... to bad, there is a lot of good info here for the new members of this industry but alas... their probably not interested in hearing about all the good stuff.... so I guess they will do it on their own. See ya...................... |

Well Bill, I am pretty boring and not much happening bail wise for me. The PI work is picking up and that is relatively "un"exciting to talk about. But it brings in good money for mostly easy work on the computer. We keep finding stray dogs around the office and getting them back home or at least to the shelter. Will be taking next off to spend time up at the Hideout. Its the Boss's birthday next Monday so we usually take off and do what ever she wants to, because she is the Boss. Say hi to Gail and you stay out of trouble. |

I check in from time to time in hopes someone has posted something.... Missing the good old days when many respected folks would post their thoughts and knowledge on here.... I must say I have certainly learned a lot from a lot of you guys over the years... Maybe one day people will come back... I hope so Take care. |

I think I'll get on here in a few and start shaking the leaves a bit... I think it just needs a little fire under the mattress to get things rolling again. I notice that the NABBI site still has most of the pages that I actually wrote along with Scott back in the day... sorry that never took off... a few of us spent a lot of time, energy and money on the deal but it just wouldn't move... I guess the rank and file was just interested in their own person stuff and we just couldn't motivate them to make a move for the good of the industry. Got to go to Mildreds and pick up dinner... back later................ Take care Tony and Bill... and Scott and whoever else may be on here.... I shall return.............................. |

Well, I just got screwed again... I mistakenly thought (my mistake) that if I paid the $60 or so to photobucket... for an annual access... all my photos would show up again... on all the sites I had posted them to... referred to as 3rd. party hosting... well, it ain't so... there are 3 levels of accounts on photobucket... the first level basically gives you nothing that I can see.... so what good did my payment of $60 do me.... my assessment is... "none". As said many times............. "buyer beware"... I did not read the fine print and I am out $60.... that's fine but this needs to be noted by anyone using photobucket... cause if you want 3rd. party hosting, which will place your pictures on other sites... you have to spend $40 a month.... that's $40 a month... "Buyer beware" read the fine print cause it may cost you money.... >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ... added later... does anyone know of a site that can accomplish the 3rd. party hosting that we enjoyed on photobucket and now is no longer available? |

I just deleted my photobucket account, so no pictures past or present will be visible on this or any other site ... ... sorry but that is the way it goes........................... |

I'm looking around for another.... free or less expensive alternative to post pics on other sites.... ... anyone else come up with a valid alternative... lay it on me. |
