Dear God, Thank you for this day, for the wonderful meal on our table. Thank you for the friends & family gathered here together today. On this day we also remember those who have passed away. We pause to reflect at that empty chair at the table. Dear God we are reminded of how short life is & are thankful for the provisions you have given us. In gratitude & praise we thank you for our blessings even when we forget or take those we love for granted. Have mercy on our failures Dear Lord. Thank you for the good works you perform in our lives. Father, we Thank You for this day, for the people here with us & those we fondly remember. Amen For those of us that are alone and or working (Bail or Recovery) at this time of year . . . and to borrow words from my Dad who crossed over in 2005 . . . "Let us Pray that their Families love them more than we do" HAPPY THANKSGIVING ! I love you guys ! |
