Post subject:  An Imposter among us!!

It pains me to the core to expose this man and the con he's been pulling for years. It would be even more painful if I didn't expose this man, and allow some to believe the BS he's been spewing for years.

Yes folks, we have a licensed bondsman and licensed private investigator posing as none of the above. Is this legal??

He won't tell you about his bail bonding ability, nor how many skips he's apprehended, how he cons the cons and plays the players. Can you believe this imposter doesn't even have a youtube video of himself making the perfect apprehension. (Now that's a shame!!)

He will give credit to everyone but himself. He probably knows as much if not more than just about anybody reading this about our business but you'll never see or hear that from him. He travels the country promoting this business, but not himself. This imposter has been known to make apprehensions without the skip even knowing he was apprehended. (all legal and aboveboard) Judges, Clerks of Court and law enforcement officials jump all over themselves trying to assist this man when they can. (I'll never figure that one out)

So, what we have here is a bondsman who does his own recoveries, a licensed private investigator with a CCW posing as a retired trucker. (Dam Shame) He pretty much sits around his one bedroom apartment reading "True Detective" by an oil lamp, petting his two dogs. (if you believe that Well....)

There should be a law against having all this knowledge and credentials but claiming to be a retired trucker who writes an occasional bond when allowed to do so.

On second thought, I think this business would be in much better shape if we all aspired to be an Imposter.

Bill Marx SR, You are the man and I'll tell you now, I caught on to you, many years ago my friend. I hope that one day I can be as humble and affective as you are. Until then, I'll just continue to read your posts on FRN and ask myself "Who does this cat think he's fooling?? :D :D  :D

Take care !!

Bill

Mr Williams -

When I read the title of this post I was very nervous!

However, after reading your complete post - I must concur.

Bill Marx, Sr is one of the best of those who are members of this forum. However, there are several others that I also think we should keep I eyes on - and read intently what they have written.

Thank you and best regards,

Couldn't agree more Phil. However, Myself and many more know first hand of the many things Bill has done and continues to do, without most knowing just how much this man gets done and all the while being a "Country Bondsman".

Those of us that have worked or just talked with Bill know what I'm referring to.

BTW, No need to get nervous, you have the DELETE button :D

I still haven't figured out how he works in his white lightening deliveries in between bond postings. I thopught he was pulling the wool over Gail's eyes until I heard on the street, or in his neck of the woods the party line, that her street name is Grandma Dynamite! I think Bill may be just the front for this operation, but do not tell him I said this. I don't want the deliveries to stop!

Mr. Williams, you are just as astute as always!

I certainly hope that this tomfoolery NEVER stops. The only mistake in Mr Williams post was the reading of "True Detective" by oil lamp. It is actually " Jaybird" out of Florida. Needless to say Bill Marx Sr is one of the MOST respected leaders in our Industry. I'ts not only a pleasure, but an HONOR to be his friend & brother at arms. Hope he's here representing the FRN & NABBI for a long time. Great post Bill W. .

I only have a short comment here... you really need to change the name here to at least a dozen or more others that these shoes fit much better than myself... I would offer Bill Williams, Scott MacLean, Joe Stiles, Steve Faircloth, John Gomm, Robert 'Lion' Edwards, Gene Lacy, Matt Arnold and many, many more who are far above my pay grade in this game... and those are just the tip of the burg... and that is all I will offer here... and since, according to Mr. Williams... I am such a 'know it all'.... you will, I am sure, have to take my word on this... 8)

I will offer one other thing... anyone seeking to enter this profession needs to read and comprehend the threads by at least those members I have mentioned above... and that, dear readers, is the undisputed truth... not to be confused with my ramblings...

Yes, I am an impostor... but... as you may recall....

"... pay no attention to the man behind the curtain... " for as was revealed in the 'Wizard of Oz'... the wizard, was in fact, a very talented impostor,,, but still an impostor.... end of story.
