I currently have a day job & I work the DuPont rotating shift schedule if anyone is familiar with it.
1st week I work FRi, Sat, Sun & Mon nights 6pm-6am
The next three days off.
2nd week I work Fri, Sat & Sun day 6am-6pm, then have 48 hours off & work Tue, Wed & Thur night (6 out of 7)
The next three days off
3rd week I work Mon, Tues, Wed & Thur days 6am-6pm
Followed by 7 days off

This is just too much time off for me & I’m looking for something to fill four of my seven off & one of my three. Could I be useful to a bond company writing bonds with availability like this? I know how to get licensed in my state & have the cash to pay for it. I have no issues working bail enforcement but, my impression (from TV of course) is you need to be available anytime of day.

Fatboy, a lot of folks write bail part time. Good luck in whatever you decide.

... and that is da truth.

Fatboy... Here's a statement that most on here should probably agree with....

Bail bonds and the recovery business is for the most part (some may disagree, but believe me... I am telling it as it is) .............. PART TIME.... I have been at it for 14 years and I have more time off than I need.... and the more folks that get in this business, thinking that they are gonna make a ton of money... simply dilute the mix and give me more free time.... of course you can make any job what you want, just depends on how much money you have to promote yourself and how hard you want to get out there...

I will say this yet again, as I have for as long as I have been preaching on FRN............. "DO NOT QUIT YOUR DAY JOB"... this occupation is a great part time job.... anyone that says they are doing it full time........ well, it may be their only source of income but it will always be.......... part time.... your either way too busy or your sitting around looking at the walls.... 8)

Well now Ken..... you might be surprised at how little time I actually spend in front of my computer... every day I do check my email, Facebook and FRN but other than that... not as much as you may imagine.
