Howdy Folks! Haven't had much chance to post lately, because we have been blessed with lots of work lately. In fact, we went up to Fort Collins and made capture of a fugitive from back east and had to transport to eastern Iowa. When I say easter, I mean right near the banks of the Mississippi River! We took the man into our custody Saturday morning around 6:00am, drove to Bettendorf, and met with agents from back east. After transferring him to their care for the trip back to Penn, we turned right around and headed back. Only two of us on this apprehension, and the other agent got his driver's license pulled so I had to drive the whole way there and back again. Lots and lots of hours behind the wheel. We were back on the front range by about noon-thirty, and for some reason, I was purely tired and spent much of my Sunday in bed. All in all, it was a pretty darn good weekend! Blessings, Mel |
