CJER Primer Series: Bail and Own-Recognizance Release Procedures

This is a very streamlined publication and it can be extremely useful to the bail licensees and the bail fugitive recovery persons in the State of California. I found the following three sections to be of the most interest to me:
2 - Exoneration of Bail
3 - Forfeiture of Bail
6 - Criminal Sanctions for Failure to Appear

I wonder how many CA judges actually read or review this. In my experience, most judges know to forfeit the bond. But when it comes to exonerations or motion for extensions, they rely on the county counsels recommendation.

Oh, wow! I don't know. That's a good question.
