Our great county(Buncombe County,NC) released a school teacher last night on a $100,000 unsecured bond for sexual exploitation of a minor X 4. This is the second time this week that this has happened. The first was a 19 year old on 2nd degree rape, it was also $100,000 unsecured. Earlier in the week I got a 68year old lady(no record), lived here all her life and same address for 20 years. She had received threats on the phone. She heard a noise outside and seen 2 people at the end of her driveway. She got a pistol and shot a bullet into the ground. She was charge with a Misd. assault by pointing a gun, her bond was $20,000 SECURED!!!! How do these idiots(Magistrates) justify setting these bonds |

Ken, things are getting crazy in this business everywhere it seems. Your 68 year old lady should have waited until they tried to open her door (assuming they were up to no good) and shot them point blank dead. She would have gotten off that one becausf of the new laws that were enacted recently. Look at the Sentinel newspaper, got a guy charged with 2nd degree murder, (his father killed a guy I know a few years ago and was set free) h's under a 150,000.00 bond while another of my guys was caught with drugks, not trafficking ad has a 150,000.00 bond....This place is screwed up. I saw four people that had be arrested on a FTA and was released on an unsecured bond...Go figure!! |

Here is an even better one for you .... This week here in Miami... BOND for an Out of State Resident $250,000 ... caught and arrested in Miami with 2 other defendants.. for "Controlled Substance / Trafficking (Cocaine - over 100 Kilos), ...Possession/Cocaine, ...Cannabis Possession/ 20 grams or less, ...Possession of Concealed Firearm, ...Fleeing and Eluding PO, ...Reckless Driving, ...Driving While License Suspended (Habitual) Felony, ....Resisting Officer with Violence (4 Counts) , Resisting Officer without Violence (4 Counts) ... well at court the other day .. The Judge gave him R.O.R. (Released Own Recognizance) and he walked out of the Jail... Thats the Criminal Justice System for ya ! .. The system doesnt work .. yes , it is frustrating .. another major reason why I left law enforcement early, cause I couldnt deal with wasting my time risking my life and then these people are released before I even finish my paperwork.. now I just let this stuff roll off me and go have a beer and not give a crap. This country is going to hell faster than you can blink your eyes.. |
