I just had a request come across my facebook newsfeed from this group asking that any member of FRN remove themselves from their friends list. In compliance with that request, I have unsubscribed to them.

HaHa... how are you ever going to get some sleep now and hope this does not worry you all day everyday?? ... I dont know if I have them on my Facebook pages but if I do .. they can remove themselves if they want ... They were the ones who had to originally accept me if they did...

After reading Joe's post and Jeff's response I checked these guys out.
How do these guys stay out of jail or at least keep from getting sued?

I've worked Oklahoma once or twice and never heard of these guys until recently. Maybe they're looking for a tv show but from what I've read they will be doing well to stay out of jail.

I did see where they wanted all FRN people that were their friends to unfriend them. Seems the local Police have issues with hese guys as well. Anyways, like you, Jeff, they can unfriend me if in fact we're friends at all.

I do believe that they may be the final straw that broke the camels back last year and the reason that things are being legislatively looked at out there in Oklahoma

If I'm not mistaken from what another agent told me (you know how the ole' telephone game goes), they are in huge legal trouble because they were chasing a fugitive and broke into a home thinking that person was there, held the people at gunpoint and it ended up being the incorrect home. If thats true, it'll be a mess for other agents who just want to do their job without a camera to put them on the internet.

I'm not sure what happened... last I heard, they ended up getting the guy, and it was originally the guy from the house in the article. You would've thought like every one else, they would have chopped this up as a learning experience and moved forward. Sometimes we make mistakes, and we all learn from them, and sometimes others make mistakes and we all learn from them. Even if we do everything right, we still learn how we could do it better next time. Why they are trying to burn a huge bridge such as FRN, is a question to me. It's easier to ask for forgiveness and receive constructive criticism than hide behind a screen shaking our heads and defending ourselves for what we think we did or did not do wrong.

Sorry if that came off as free advertising. It was not intended that way. I was just stating from what I have read in the media. I am just one company. I haven't worked with them or sub-contracted any cases to/from them. I try to keep an open opinion on every one until I have personally been involved or someone/company has been officially blacklisted by FRN, NABBI, Clients, Bondsman/Recovery Agents, or any Alumnis... its easy for one person to burn another... A full consensus helps bring out every person's opinion.

Tim, you misunderstood. I was not implying that you had done that.

With them 'talking" about this Forum we are going to have folks coming to "take a look" . . . hence the "I love Free Advertizing" ;)

Us discussing their posting . . . gives them the same . . . .
