I ran someone's name through Google tonight and the very first "result" was a local crime watchers Facebook post. His name, address and crime was listed right there. Sometimes the easy way is just as good as the hard way. |

Its the first thing I do when I get a call for a bail. I run their name or the co signers name to verify addresses, jobs, facebook pages etc. Very often they pop up somewhere on Google. |

Google is great but Facebook is king! Caught the last two both entirely via social media in general and Facebook in particular! |

Facebook is always great for getting information. I've seen status updates like this: "Ugghhh. Stupid people keep trying to find me. but, whatever. 3-for-1's at Billy's tonight!!! I'll be there til close! txt me if you come!"... "Chillin at da crib wit my gf. Jus gon stay in and watch tv tonite..." |

Best Facebook catch ever for us. We have a skip who was in Oakland. We were looking for him forever he has a FB page but nothing posted to clue us in. One day I look at his page and he has posted " Took me and mine to Stockton to live" Then goes on to tell how close he is to a Pot shop and posts a pic of him smoking a joint on his porch and saying I can see the shop from my porch. Well needless to say he was easy. |

We used Facebook to infiltrate a group of gay activists to get our skip. It took two tries because the first time, h jumped out a 3rd story window! Scott |

Love the social netorks, have helped me a ton but right now I'm applying old school heat to friends of my skip in Jacksonville. Got everybody scurrying around like rats trying to distance themselves from my clients skip. Should'nt be long now!! I hope. |
