Ok... lets all get ready... after this December... nothing is gonna matter cause we are all gonna be gone... as in gone... as in disappeared... as in the "rapture"... or so "THEY" say...

The Mayans... the Druids... and Donald Duck all say it is coming...

I watched a documentary the other day about how a tremendous number of folks out west and all over the world are preparing for the end... and intending on surviving by digging underground shelters... I ain't talking about just a simple hole in the ground, I am talking sophisticated, stocked, food enough for 5 years, generators with enough gas to run them for 5 year or more... condos, movie theaters, bowling alleys... I mean, big time survival ... uh....... surviving.... uh... how do you survived the end of the world... uh............ well... here's what I am planning..



Sometime in November, I'm considering purchasing a brand new Lincoln Continental... a high dollar Harley... a large, decked out motor home and maybe a couple of M-60's and possibly a really nice GAU-8/A Avenger... (30 mm hydraulically-driven seven-barrel Gatling-type rotary cannon) and 100K or so rounds of ammunition... just for kicks... and I'm gonna charge it all... on my American Express unlimited card....

... then... on Dec. 21... after riding around on my bike, taking a trip in my motor home... and riding around Kenbridge for a couple of weeks in my big black Lincoln... I'm gonna step out in my backyard with a gallon of "apple pie"... surrounded by my lovely wife and my two dogs... have a seat in a very comfortable lounge chair... look up in the sky... fire off a few thousand rounds of auto-fire stuff... take at least 5 or 6 really big gulps of 'pie' and hollar as loud as I can.... "BRING IT ON AND GET R DONE!!!"


.... then... on the slim chance that nothing happens........... like the next day or maybe I will wait till 1 January, 2013.... I'll just call everyone and tell em to come get the stuff.... 8)

I'm going to Vegas and open a line of credit at Bellagios, stay in the penthouse suite and play high stakes poker, slots and blackjack.

The Boss is going to hit all the spas and boutiques and we are bringing the dogs along.

After that we will stop in at the local Mercedes dealer and trade in the pick up truck for a brand new SLQ 900 series whatever and drive back home.

Hopefully we will make it before the world ends. Then I may sit on the roof and watch all the people running around like crazy.

Oops, Bill, I will need you to send me a case of rhuemitism medicine out with a little Apple Pie. I could get a little thirsty watching all the people panicing in the streets.

You would enjoy it... I starred in the main feature film... they had to keep bringing in fresh young ladies... they kept getting really tired out.... :lol: 8) :roll:

Seems like a lot of nightclub's up here have "doomsday" and "end of the world" parties scheduled what with the 21st of Dec. being on a Friday. I'm thinking myself and a couple friends will end up finding a nice venue with a view to people watch... With as many people who buy into this end of the world thing I'm sure the people watching will prove interesting :)

I guess I'll be the boring one! I'll likely settle down for a quiet evening at home, and do much as I did with that whole Y2K deal...
Nothing!

Friends of mine ran out and bought generators, MRE's, weapons, ammo, plenty of beer, purified water and halizone tablets, emergeny medical supplies, and sequestered themselves and all that accumulated junk in shelters they'd dug into their yard.

About a month later, they had a terrific yard sale, and you could pick up survival stuff for pennies on the dollar!

Come the 22nd, I expect I'll end up having to work!
