Specifically, I am seeking Bail Agents in Lehigh, Schuylkill, Montgomery and Berks Counties. If you have the qualifications please PM me or send your resume via email. If your resume fits the build, I'll have one of my managers contact you and we'll get the process moving forward. Description Ever wonder what tomorrow’s sunrise may hold for your? We are seeking Bail Agents across southeastern Pennsylvania. This is not a fugitive recovery agent role nor are we seeking FRAs. Bail Agents are critical to the success of a Bail Bondsman. Bail Agents have a fascinating and diverse role. They are in correctional facilities on a daily basis, interviewing Defendants, then speaking with the Defendant’s family and ultimately arranging the release of a Defendant from incarceration. The Bail Agent earns a highly profitable commission each time he or she accomplishes this task. The job of a Bail Agent does not end at this juncture. While the Defendant is on bail, he or she must be monitored. Bail Agents will develop strong professional relationships during this time period. Successful Bail Agents are “people persons” and the consummate advisor at all times. Due to a less than cooperative Defendant, at times, the Bail Agent must leave his or her advisor role to become the hunter of a fugitive. Thankfully, this unleashing of the hunter is rare. If you have an interest in having the ability to control your own future, earn a substantial income and have the skills to manage your own day…you may want to explore further. Requirements - Hold a Property & Casualty License (or have the ability to obtain) issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance. - Hold a valid driver’s license with valid automobile insurance, own reliable transportation and enjoy daily travel within Southeastern PA. - Hold a clean criminal record (no misdemeanor or felony convictions). - Hold a PA Carry Concealed Weapons permit and fugitive recovery certification from a recognized academy authorized to instruct Act 235, OC and expandable baton certification or have the ability to obtain all of the aforementioned. - Enjoy helping people through a difficult time with empathy and still achieve the goal. - Strong verbal (in person and telephonic) communication skills coupled with advanced writing skills. - Individuals possessing an Associate’s Degree or higher, bi-lingual (English/Spanish), prior military and/or law enforcement experience are STRONGLY encouraged to explore this profession. |

No misdemeanors ? Well that's going to exclude a large percentage of potential applicants. Anyone that's ever had any kind of parking or moving violation citation is ineligible for the position. Just seems a little harsh. I mean afterall, most police departmments aren't even that strict. |

Spaniel thanks for the reply. Here in Pennsylvnania, parking violations are not misdemeanors but a summary offense therefore traffic offenses are not an issue. Pennsylvania Insurance Commission makes the rules for Bail Agents in PA, we simply must follow those guidelines. |

Also in CA, traffic, parking and many municipal codes such as drinking in a public park are not misdemeanors. |

A Class A Misdemeanor (which holds a sentence of up to a year in the County Jail) disqualifies ANY type of License (issued thru the State, other than a DL) here in the Great State of Arkansas. |
