To ALL of my "Family" (and their families) in the path of this storm PLEASE make sure to take of yourselves and all your 4 leg family members . . . WE need to hear from each one of you here. It is not looking good for NC, NYC, MD (DC) and MA. Of course there are States that will be affected but not the way that they are saying those I have mentioned will be affected |

Good to go here... Bought some long life flashlights, stocked fridge and water... Hard to get when you have a well and no power:) I just hope we don't lose it... Been here almost 3 years and only lost power twice...hopefully I can give some updates throughout this thing... And Kelsey has cookies and a big bag of food... Can't forget my baby girlie:) |

Bill, VA requires licensure, call Matt at finders and have him grab your guy and swap him with you. he may have one in your neck of the woods and you can swap them! Scott |

Angela, fill your bathtub up with water to use to flush toilets and to cook with, boiled first! Get extra propane for your grill and fill your cars up with gas, no power, no gas. Candles, matches and canned goods, cooler full of ice and bottled water. Lastly, you have to have the stuff to make Hurricanes with so you don't much care! Scott |

Quote: Preparing to pick up a skip in Newport News VA and the dang hurricane is coming... Guess he'll have a few more days of freedom. Maybe the wind will just blow him back to Carolina................ Scott, all done and good... very good advice... I think I may be a bit west of the main blow but still.... I have gased up the cars and the generator is in good working order with gas... ... bathtub filled and ice in the cooler... bottled water and propane... all very good advice... also, keep ammunition close and watch your property if it gets really bad... people tend to get frisky in bad situations... they need to stay off my little patch... We are ready... batteries and candles and oil lamps too..... Be safe you all............ if your close to the water... (ocean) I would advise moving a bit inland... especially in the Carolina, Virginia and up the coast... Bay area too. I have no products to make Hurricanes... but I do have several mason jars with... their own brand of Hurricanes... |
