Followed. Updating the bondsman, as best I could under the circumstances, and surveilling until the bondsman arrives. I've done pick ups on the fly like that. Was totally set up outside an apartment one time recently when the skip pulled out and drove off in his truck. Got him an hour later coming out of the Goodwill store.

I would have followed had I been in a vehicle suitable for transport. The bondsman had been contacted and told me to follow and detain if possible, but I was driving a 5 spd ranger from the late 80's. I often use it for surveillance, it's ugly, old, rusty, and doesn't look like something that a BEA is going to be expected to be in.

Bill, not to hijack the thread, but.....do you have a relative say around your age...out here in So Cal? I saw a guy at Angels Stadium the other night that was a dead ringer for you! Ask Deb if you ever get the chance...I kept bringing it up! The resemblance was scary! Not that resembling you is scary or anything.
