Hello, I have been involved in Process Serving and Special Investigations, security, executive security here and there, never have done bail bonds or fugitive recovery. I really thought about doing it and had a company in florida willing to take me in (takes a year of training as a temp to get full license) but the money just couldn't cut it. Now I have a great opportunity to work with a company here in Wisconsin. I'm wondering what people think of wisconsin getting bonding again, where exactly the law is at (signed any day now) and advice, any input is appreciated.

The inside track says that the governor will bow to pressure and lies and line item veto the bail legislation out of the final bill.

So, no bail bonds or "bounty hunters" in WI.

Florida is not exactly the way you were told neither.
It is a bit more than a one year apprenticeship . . . You Florida boys want to clue him in ?

say it ain't so...I REALLY would like this as an occupation, it's challenging, there's a lot to it, and the chasing game, hunting humans, as in tracking them down, has got to be a challenge, i know people are creatures of habit etc, but there's got to be a level of difficulty with the cunning of a criminal running to escape the hell of incarceration, and, because i'm new, i fully expect everything i say to be torn apart simply because i'm new, but anyway, I digress, I just would like to enter this world and I really hope walker does not veto it out, I swear I will then put up anti walker signs in my yard, and believe me, there's a plethora of them here, a HUGE group of people are very upset with him, but i'm sure you all know the state of the states economy (Wisconsin) and while I wont go into his methods of cutbacks, I do think there's no reason why we always have to be "special", bail bonds, concealed carry, we're always the loner state, but now that CCW is damn near signed, he had better pass through the bail bonds.
