I have not in the past, made it a habit to advertise anything on this site... (other than in the "For Sale" thread)... however, I felt compelled to provide my opinion on something that I feel can be extremely helpful in anyone's career in our industry.

During my recent meeting at the Annual FRNCON in Vegas... I and all participants in the convention were given a CD provided by Mr. Scott Harrell who happens to own and operate a number of companies and affiliated agencies and schools directly related to our vast industry.

The title of this particular CD is "Apprehending Bail Fugitives" and it was developed by Mr. L. Scott Harrell through his organization, CompassPoint Investigations.

I had not had the pleasure of meeting Scott although I was very aware of his involvement in our industry and had heard a bit of him from our mutual friend Scott MacLean.

I will only say this. Over the past few days, I have spent some time reading and going over the contents of this CD and I can only say that if you have any idea of staying in or getting into our business... you absolutely have to get your hands on this CD. It is an absolute wealth of information and it is totally unbiased and is only aimed at informing and enlightening and educating our members.

The members that attended our convention may have no idea what is contained in this CD... you have been provided with an extremely pertinent tool and you better stick it in your computer and watch, read and try to comprehend it's contents.

This CD is available through Mr. Harrell's website and I would highly recommend that everyone having access to his organization order this CD and look deeply into Mr. Harrell's other training tools that I believe can be invaluable in your career.

This is directly related to our industry and IMHO can be invaluable.

I have nothing to gain from this recommendation and I only post this here for general info ... it is my opinion only. Take a look at his site and judge for yourself. You absolutely will find it to your advantage... and while you are at it... read his online magazine... "Pursuit Magazine".

Mr. Harrell has long been an industry icon, although he bristles when I refer to him in that manner. His work product and intellectual property are above reproach. Those that are not familiar with his body of work are paying for the same real estate twice, because they will learn via the university of hard knocks what is available immediately for a nominal fee.

Ditto what Mr. Marx and Mr. MacLean said as I could not find words to say it any better then they already have.

A huge THANK YOU, Bill, for starting the thread and the others for their kind words!

I am certainly proud that you all are finding the material to be of value! It was a pleasure to be able to offer the training CD to those in attendance at FRACON 2011. I'll work hard to top it for FRACON 2012!!!
