FYI- A bolo went out on the Hells Angels. Any Hells Angel seen wearing a red bandana signifies that they are armed and will shoot/suicide by cop... Just FYI to ya all...

Apparently there was an incident with law enforcement in So. Cal and they put it out there that red bandana's = armed with guns and will fight cops/suicide by cop.... all I really got on it so far.

Hells Angels colors are red and white and they have worn red bandannas for as long as I can remember. Their number is 81 for the 8th letter of the alphabet, "H" and the 1st letter of the alphabet, "A". You will see stickers on bikes and vehicles that say "Support your Red and White" and "Support Your 81" or just "81".

I suspect this is a hoax.

Yeah I googled it and it seems the red bandanas are generally associated with them. That would be a lot of shootings/suicides.

As a former member of a "3-patch" club that has a long association with the Hells Angels, they have always worn red or red and white bandanas. It simply shows their allegiance to and support of the club. Most people would be amazed how many Angels are professional people (physicians, attorneys, businessmen, bankers, etc). Because of my previous association, I still have many friends who are Angels here in Northern California.

I read it and still call BS. What is the probability of a patch holder being armed? I think it is a means to trump up probable cause to stop and search bikers. You could use the same tactic on any organized group or club. In my opinion, the end does not justify the means, as it is still an infringement on the individuals personal rights. It is also not very smart for a 1% biker to be armed knowing that they will be stopped.

The info is there to take it or leave it. I just thought I would share in case one of us has dealings with them, better safe then sorry. I didnt mean to offend anyone that might be involved with biker groups...
