Certain members here know that I was at Ground Zero for Hurricane Rita, that struck in SE Texas. I would like to thank EVERY member here who called me on my cell phone and offered assistence! Power was just restored here in my neighborhood. I will NEVER complain about my power bill again. For the last 13 days, it was "Rock-n-Roll" when the sun went down. I encountered MANY looters and MANY shots were fired. Stuff happened around here that you will never see on your nightly news. I took many photos and once I get those pics back, I will post them on my Yahoo Blog. Certain individuals here know "how" I document everything. Each day I kept a log of what happened. I will post my experience on my Yahoo blog. My "Life" has changed in the past 13 days. I can no longer look at things as I once did. I pray that no one has to endure a natural disaster, to have to go out and search for food & water. Because if you think your "Government" will take of you, THINK AGAIN! |
