Post subject:  New Recent Arrests Circular In My Area and Hopefully Yours.
A few months ago or so here in the Tri-Cities, Tennessee/Virginia gas stations started carrying "Tri-Cities Busted" newspapers that have all arrests/photos/charges for the week (comes out every Tuesday) for all surrounding counties. I use Vinelink frequently to help me look for subjects, but this circular is amazing. It costs $1 weekly and it will save me a fortune hopefully. Just today in the paper I found out that there is a skip that is in jail in a surrounding county. That is going to save me about a grand.

I just wanted to know if any of you other professionals have these things available in your area.

The only unfortunate thing for me is, I had the idea to start something like this 6 months ago after seeing it in South Carolina. I guess you have to jump on your idea before somebody else thinks of it. Oh well, you live and you learn.

They are doingthe same thing two counties over from me. Same cost exact same format! Looks like somebody figured it out ;-)

I believe that paper has been out for over a year now in Tennessee.Only sold in certain stores though and was tough to find at first.I remember the news having a big thing about it when it first came out,asking people if they thought it was a good idea to post these people in a paper or not.My opinion on that is if you dont want people knowing you were arrested than just dont get arrested.For the most part the people around you already know what type of person you are so telling a few more shouldnt hurt your feelings!! lol

Interesting. I can see where this would be a handy tool.

There must be advertising inside. I'd consider placing an ad in that if I saw it around here.

The only area that I have noticed these types of papers is Clarke County, Georgia. it is a handy tool when you can find your defendant posted in it.

I've heard there is something simliar in certain areas out here in La-La Land but I haven't seen one yet.

Here is a better place to look for recent arrests in CA. It is more up to date but has a limited time span.
