I will not expand on this except to say that yesterday, I had occasion to work with one of the absolute true professionals on this site, Mr. Scott MacLean of "Chesapeake Bail Bonds". As you all may know he is among other things... a licensed Private Investigator and as such he is quite accomplished. He is a teacher, a bondsman, a PI... and holder of several other professional standings that I will not mention. He is also a very intelligent and capable guy who ... if he likes you... will bend over backwards to help in whatever you may be faced with.

I only post this to say thanks to Scott and tout his accomplishments... and Scott, if you ever need me, in my limited capacity, you only have to pick up the phone... I will be there. Period.

I have to add one thing... Scott has absolutely ruined my personal reputation in "Mildred's Meals".... and my lovely daughter actually liked him and thought he was good looking... (she needs glasses), I tried to give him one of my dogs but he refused to take him... I will not elaborate... 8)

Thank you.

While I am flattered at the responses, I feel it imperative to clarify a few things...

Bill overstated the value of my participation. The man is very well respected and commands attention and respect in his AO.

Bill, While your daughter is quite attractive, holding me at gunpoint while we visited was a little disconcerting.

The pinnacle of the visit was meeting the woman on the other end of Bill's leash, the famous Gail, a refined and upstanding Bastian of Virginia womanhood.

About the restaurant, I was almost on my best behavior. While being eye balled as arm candy by Kenbridge's elite members of the single spinsters society is flattering, the constant clicking of the loose upper plates kept distracting me. It is not my fault that Ms. Mildred had never heard of the King George MacLeans and did not believe that anything less than 6 generations could qualify as anything but a "Come Downer", an apparently unattractive position to be in amongst the landed gentry of southern VA.

Now, to speak to the assistance provided... I did nothing more than offer the same level of professionalism offered me when the roles were reversed. When I got into this business a few weeks ago, there really was no one person to turn to for advice, so one had to get good or get out. That is why the older people on this site are as experienced as they are, they are survivors. I sincerely hope that the new people on here read the old posts, some from members no longer with us, and take to heart the hidden message of actions so as to sustain this business, not actions to gain attention and cost all of us this business. Smackdowns are often deserved, and we have all received them. It takes a type A personality to desire to do this business and an accomplished type A to succeed. The fact that we all get along as well as we do is quite amazing. There have been those that lack the reverence for this business and their experience was the less for it. I have learned from the best of them.

As always you are correct Scott.I have said it before and will continue to say it,i learn everyday from the more experienced people on this forum. There is a overwhelming amount of knowledge in these posts and i am extremely grateful for the profesionals here that are willing to take time out and post informative posts for the rest of us to learn from.I can only hope that i can put my 2 cents in and my experiences for the newer people than i am,and have it ring as true as the people that have been in this business alot longer.
Our prestigious agents and PI's on this forum will sadly not be around forever but their words will be here to educate all of us.So let us all take in these words of knowledge so we too can help bring in the next set of agents properly and without doing harm to our profession.
We cant forget the more humorous posts as well, breaks up the monatiny of some of our more serious posts :)

It is my sincere ambition to live past 90 and die quickly in a motorcycle wreck in Sturgis, SD... (single bike accident while trying to escape from a carload of college cheerleader that have been after me for a week...) and my funeral was attended by the entire Redskins Cheerleaders team.... and 7 of them were pregnant....
